Different Types of Smartphone Display

 In the market, there are a lot of smartphone displays. Some of them are:


 

1.TFT-LCD(Thin Film Transistor-Liquid Crystal Display):
This type of display is used in a lot of smartphones. It gives you good image quality and higher resolutions than a normal LCD display.But, It has a poor viewing angle and poor image quality in direct sunlight or hard light.

 2.IPS-LCD(In-Place Switching-Liquid Crystal Display):
This is an improved version of the previous LCD displays with a better viewing angle, better image quality, and higher resolution. But, It is costly too. 

3.OLED(Organic Light-Emitting Diode):
This display works without a backlight because it emits visible lights. It can display deep black color images, higher resolution, and better image quality. These types of displays consume less power than LCDs.

4.AMOLED(Active Matrix Organic Light-Emitting Diode):
Nowadays, AMOLED displays are used in a lot of flagships and mid-ranges phone. It is also better than the OLED display. Hence, They are more expensive than the OLED display.

5.Super AMOLED:
It was primarily developed by SAMSUNG. This is the improved version of AMOLEDs with more brightness than AMOLED, thinner display than others, and overall the best display.
